The Red Devils will initially pay £43.8m for the Cameroon player with additional £3.4m in add-ons.
The Old Trafford team will be hoping the 27-year-old joins them on their upcoming tour in the United States, although Onana still doesn’t have a visa.
Erik Ten Hag specifically targeted Onana as David de Gea’s replacement, having worked with him at Ajax.
The Dutchman feels that the Cameroon player will be a significant addition to his ongoing squad rebuilding.
Onana spent 7 and a half years at Ajax before moving to Inter Milan last summer.
