Mitch Marner notched twice and had an assist, William Nylander scored and also gave an assist, as the other goal netted Zach Aston-Reese for the Canadian franchise to equal the series 1-1.

Morgan Rielly tied a franchise achievement with 4 assists. Auston Matthews also with a great role in the win with 2 assists.

Ilya Samsonov stopped 19 shots for Maple Leafs after being substituted in Game 1.

Ian Cole and Corey Perry notched for Tampa Bay as the game missed Victor Hedman and Erik Cernak because of injuries.
