Maple Leafs ink Easton Cowan to ELC

The Toronto Maple Leafs have inked 2023 1^st round selection Easton Cowan to a 3-year, entry-level deal.

Easton was picked 28^th overall at this year’s NHL draft, notched 20 goals, and earned 53 points in 68 games with the OHL’s London Knights in the past campaign. He also appeared in 20 postseason matches, earning 21 points in them.

The Canadian winger was the Maple Leafs’ 1^st draft selection under the new GM, Brad Treliving.
