Masters champ Jon Rahm chose to leave the PGA Tour for the Saudi Arabian-backed LIV Golf League.
LIV Golf will make it official in the upcoming hours as that is a huge addition for the organization as they inked an ex-number 1 golfer.

The contract is expected to last over 3 years, and the golfer will earn over 300 million dollars. Another bonus for Jon will be an ownership stake in LIV Golf. The Saudi Arabian-owned league will try to sign more golfers from the PGA Tour.
The Masters champion choice comes when both golf leagues are close to emerging and creating a new elite golf organization – PGA Tour Enterprises.
PGA Tour and LIV Golf chiefs will meet in the upcoming days to discuss the final details, as some documents must be signed by the end of the year for the deal to happen.
🚨👀🔙 #LOOKING BACK — Jon Rahm ripped LIV: “Shot gun 3 days to me is not a golf tournament , no cut. I wanna play against the best in the world in a format that’s been going on for 100s of years. Would my lifestyle change if I got $400M? Not one bit.” pic.twitter.com/wPyPLDV8Or
