Wolverhampton defender Maximilian Kilman has signed a new contract at the Premier League side until the summer of 2028.
Wolves defender Max Kilman has signed a new five-year deal with the club.
Kilman, who has been made captain after the exit of Ruben Neves, attracted interest from other clubs this summer but has now committed his future to Molineux.

The defender was under a contract at Wolverhampton until 2026, with a 1-year extension option, and teams approached Wolves during the current transfer window to ask about Kilman’s situation.
Napoli offered almost 39 million dollars for the defender, but Wolverhampton rejected the bid last month as they are only willing to sell for at least 46 million dollars.
“This is what Kilman deserves,” the Premier League team sporting director Matt Hobbs shared. “We’ve been in constant contact with Maximilian since the end of the past campaign, and his evolution, not just through the team, but through his role in the starting 11, has built a strong foundation to remain with us.“
The sporting director added that several clubs made official offers for the defender during the summer transfer window, but Wolves refused them all as they wanted to keep Max.
