PSG should sell the forward this summer or in January in order to cash-in a transfer fee

PSG star Kyllian Mbappe informed club management that he won’t exercise his option to extend his contract duration to 2025, French media reports.

The forward renewed his deal last summer until June 2024 and in it also included an option to extend the contract with another 12 months, but it can only be activated by the player. His plans, though, are directed somewhere else and his leaving is not imminent.

He will most probably end up in Real Madrid, as he was very close to join them in 2022 as a free agent before deciding to stay in Paris for two more years.

This way, PSG should reflect on his future and decide whether to sell him this summer or in January, or to stick with him until the next summer and part ways without cashing in any transfer free.
