The match had to be temporarily stopped after the Brazilian complained to the match official that a fan insulted him behind one of the goals at Mestalla Stadium.
The forward has been regularly succumbed to a racial abuse during his 5-year stint at Real Madrid.
“You are not alone. We are with you and we support you,” Mbappé wrote on Instagram.
The PSG striker also received heavy racial abuse after France’s loss in the World Cup final.
The matter has now taken a larger scale as the Brazilian government got involved by sending its support to Vinicius and subsequently criticizing the racism in the Spanish league.
