Kylian Mbappe’s legal battle with PSG will continue. Los Blancos superstar and his ex-team have been summoned to the Paris labor court later this month over an ongoing dispute regarding unpaid salaries and bonuses worth 55 million euros.
Mbappe believes Paris Saint-Germain still owes him the money from his previous contract, which expired last year. The case started even before Kylian left to sign with the Royal club as a free agent, and that’s when PSG decided that they don’t owe him the money that the French superstar thinks he deserves according to his deal.
The case is very important for football, because if Mbappe wins against PSG, this will be huge news for all players, as they can do the same vs. teams using fixed-term contracts.
Despite the legal battle, Kylian is shining this season as he has netted 18 goals in 15 games in all tournaments, and Real Madrid are at the top of LaLiga – 5 points ahead of its biggest competitor, Barcelona.
