Leon Draisaitl picked up his 35th goal for the Oilers who improved to 11-1-5 in their last 17 games. McDavid added two assists to boost his point total to 109.

Stuart Skinner stopped 22 shots but was rarely tested for most of the first two periods and Warren Foegele, Kailer Yamamoto, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and Devin Shore also scored for Edmonton.

Nugent-Hopkins sniped his 28th to record his 600th career point while scored for the first time since March 17, 2022.
The Penguins, holding the longest active streak in major North American professional sports with a run of 16 consecutive playoff berths, lost their fourth straight and five of six.
Kris Letang scored early in the first and late in the third period, but the Penguins were outclassed for long stretches in between.
The Oilers visit the Columbus Crew while the Penguins travel to St. Louis Blues on Saturday.
