Conor McGregor will not be in the octagon against Michael Chandler at UFC 303 on June 29th in Las Vegas, UFC chief Dana White confirmed the news.

The new main event is Alex Pereira vs. Jiří Prochazka for the light heavyweight title.

The Irish legend (22-6) was scheduled to be the main event that night but has withdrawn because of a problem. It’s the 1st time in Conor’s UFC time he’s pulled out of a bout for any reason.
The fight that now will headline the UFC 303 will be between Alex Pereira and Jiří Procházka.
Dana revealed additional information about the UFC 303. Diego Lopes will fight vs. Brian Ortega in the co-main event and Carlos Ulberg will now be in the octagon vs. Anthony Smith in a light heavyweight fight after Jamahal Hill is also unable to take part in the event with an injury.
It is still unclear if the bout between Conor and Michael will be rescheduled for the future.
