Aston Martin have announced that their Formula 1 reserve drivers Felipe Drugovich and Stoffel Vandoorne will be available to McLaren for the 2023 season.
The two teams have reached reserve driver agreement, which would allow the Woking-based outfit bolster its options for the upcoming season.
The agreement would allow Mick Schumacher to perform reserve duties for the new campaign.
The German will be joined as an option by reigning Formula 2 champion and Aston Martin academy driver Drugovich and former McLaren driver Vandoorne, who will combine his role with his DS Penske drive in Formula Efor the first 15 races of the year.
“AMF1 has agreed that McLaren will have access to our reserve drivers, Felipe Drugovich and Stoffel Vandoorne, in the instance that they are required for driving duties for the first 15 races of 2023,” Aston Martin said.
