The Toffees triumphed against Forest away from home.

Everton won against Nottingham Forest 1-0 at City Ground as the only goal in the match was scored by Dwight McNeil in the 67th minute as his shot left Forest’s goalkeeper without a chance to save it. The assist for the triumphing goal gave Jack Harrison.

That was McNeil’s 1st goal this season for the Toffees, as he finished as the club’s leading goalscorer in the past campaign with 7 goals.
