Real Madrid won against Granada 2-0 at Estadio Santiago Bernabéu, and the Royal Club is back in the 1st place in La Liga as Girona’s victory earlier today against Valencia put them temporally in the 2nd place. Still, with the 3 points, they are back at the top.

Los Blancos had the lead after the 1st half as Brahim Diaz netted after a phenomenal assist from Toni Kroos that left him alone vs. the visiting team goalkeeper.

Rodrygo continued his phenomenal form, scoring in the 57th minute to double Ancelotti’s team lead, which allowed Real to play calmly until the end of the match as they had 2 goals lead.

Real Madrid is in 1st place with 38 points after 15 matches as Girona has the same number of points, but Los Blancos had the advantage from the head-to-head games.

Granada is in the relegation zone with only 7 points after 15 games.
