Medvedev and Khachanov advance to the Miami Open semifinals

Daniil Medvedev did his job first today, beating world number 119 Christopher Eubanks in straight sets.

However, the match didn’t start very well for the Russian, but after a rain delay, Medvedev won 4 games in a row to win the 1^st set 6-3. Daniil won the 2^nd set 7-5 after breaking the last serve of his opponent before the tiebreak.

After that, Karen Khachanov also won in straight sets against world number 31 Francisco Cerundolo (6-3, 6-2). The Russian won 4 of the possible 6 break points to win the game and advance to the semifinal.

Daniil Medvedev and Karen Khachanov will play for the 5^th time against each other in the ½ final at Miami Open.

Medvedev leads with 3 victories and 1 loss as Daniil also won the last match between them in straight sets on hard in the quarterfinals in Adelaide this year.
