Daniil made another phenomenal comeback in his professional career.

Daniil Medvedev, world number 3, defeated world number 6, Alexander Zverev, after losing the opening two sets in the match but winning 3 straight after that and will face Jannik Sinners on Sunday in the final of the Australian Open as the Italian eliminated earlier today Novak Djokovic.

Everything started perfectly for Zverev as he triumphed in the 1st 2 sets to take a 2-0 lead, but in the 3rd and in the 4th set, both tennis players failed to convert a single break point, and both of the sets were decided after a tiebreak, and Medvedev won both of them.

In the deciding set, Daniil converted 2 break point opportunities from 4 chances as he didn’t give a single break point opportunity to Zverev and won the 5th set for only 39 minutes. and with that and the match as that was the 2nd comeback from 2-0 sets behind for Daniil since the beginning of the tournament, he did the same in the 2nd round against Emil Ruusuvuori.
