The Inter Miami forward was recovering from a skin issue
Lionel Messi will be fully fit for Argentina’s World Cup qualifiers against Uruguay and Brazil despite his lack of game time in the past few weeks, Lionel Scaloni said.

“Messi feels great and is doing great. Although he has only played one game in the last 25 days, he is training normally, he is healthy and fit,” Scaloni said.
Argentina, who lead the South American qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup with four wins from four games, host Uruguay 0n Thursday and visit their continental rivals Brazil five days later.
