Milan continues to face serious injury crisis this season and more precisely – in the attacking phase. Noah Okafor suffered a thigh injury in the match of the Swiss national team against Romania and today the Rossoneri understood what the extend of it is.
“Examinations have shown that the striker has a hamstring injury. Okafor will undergo further examinations in a week, which have established the development of the injury,” the club wrote.
Okafor will miss not only the game against Fiorentina, but also the clash with Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League in the middle of next week. It comes at a bad time for Milan as the Rossoneri’s main goalscorer Olivier Giroud is suspended for two matches in Serie A and Rafael Leao is also injured and will most probably also miss the Fiorentina and Dortmund clashes.
Thus, against Fiorentina, the only option for Milan’s attack remains Luka Jovic. The Serbian has so far played 7 matches for the team, of which he was the starter in 2, but did not score a single goal and even worse – hasn’t registered a shot on goal.
🚨🔴⚫️ AC Milan are considering to call 2008 born Italian talent Francesco Camarda as part of the first squad for the upcoming game vs Fiorentina.

These problems will make head coach Stefano Pioli call up the young talent from the Primavera – Francesco Camarda. The 15-year-old forward had a great season in the young teams and was promoted to the U21 team where he scored seven goals in 13 games so far. If he gets his first senior minutes on Saturday, the Italian will become the youngest debutant in Milan’s history at 15 years and 8 months and 15 days. For now, this record is held by Paolo Maldini, who debuted for the Rossoneri at 16 years.
