Mike Menian is wanted by a number of clubs across Europe. A few days ago it was reported that Bayern Munich wanted the French international as Manuel Neuer’s successor, but now three more clubs emerged as candidates for “Magic Mike”.
Manchester United, Chelsea as well as his home team Paris Saint-Germain are keeping an eye on the keeper. Maignan’s contract with Milan runs until 2026 and the management is already working on a new deal to guarantee him a top salary next to Rafael Leao.
The Frenchman’s will is to stay at San Siro, but his financial demands may make negotiations difficult, because Milan has a salary cap of 6 million euros. If a new deal is not signed, he may be sold for a fee over 60 million euros.
So far this season Maignan has 16 clean sheets in all competitions and was voted best goalkeeper in Serie A three seasons and made the headlines as he recorder an assist in all three seasons in Italy.
