Morata has a release clause of 13 million euros that will be activated by AC Milan by the end of the week. The Spaniard has already agreed his personal terms with the Rossoneri – a 5 million euros per year deal, valid until 2028.
Morata is expected to complete his medicals on Wednesday and then go on vacation after the triumph at Euro 2024 with Spain. He is expected to join his new teammates after their US tour this summer.
Spain’s captain decided to leave his home country after many critics towards his game in Atletico Madrid and the national team, despite finishing the season with 23 goals across all competitions.
