The Milwaukee Bucks are receiving Patrick Beverley from the Philadelphia 76ers in exchange for Cameron Payne and a 2027 2nd-round selection.
For the veteran (35), that means that he will work again with manager Doc Rivers, whom he spent a few years with the Los Angeles Clippers.

Bucks, who wanted perimeter defensive help before the end of the tradeline, received a basketballer who can help the defensive unit that has struggled since the beginning of the campaign and, beginning today, ranked 18th in defensive rating.
Patrick is averaging almost 7 points across 47 matches for the 76ers this campaign. Milwaukee will be Beverly’s 6th franchise since the 2020-21 campaign began.
Payne is also averaging over 6 points per match and shoots almost 40% beyond the arc, giving Philly 2nd elite 3-point shooter on deadline day after acquiring Buddy Hield earlier today.
Philadelphia is among the bottom 5 organizations in the NBA in 3-point shooting, and they hope that the new players will help them.
