Rookie Jaren Hall will be from the 1st minute on the field at the weekend’s match of his team vs. the Green Bay Packers, manager Kevin O’Connell shared today, marking the franchise’s 4th change in starters since Kirk Cousins tore his ACL in Week 8.
Jaren will replace Nick Mullens, who went 0-2 while throwing for 714 yards and 4 TDs, along with 6 picks, in a controversial 2-match stint as the team’s starting quarterback. The defeats pushed Minnesota to the edge of the NFC postseason picture, and they now have only a 20% chance of making it to the playoffs.
The #Vikings are making another QB change: Jaren Hall will start Sunday night against Green Bay, per me and @RapSheet.

The rookie, a 5th-round selection at this year’s NFL draft, was Cousins’ reserve at the time that the starting QB suffered his season-ending problem. Hall made 1 start against the Atlanta Falcons but needed to leave the field in the 1st quarter after sustaining a concussion.
