The running back will be released.

The Minnesota Vikings told RB Dalvin Cook that they would discharge him. The franchise tried to trade Dalvin unsuccessfully during the off-season.

Miami Dolphins and Denver Broncos are very Interested in Cook and will try to sign him as a free agent. However, Minnesota will try one final time to trade the RB before they let him go tomorrow.

The RB played 17 matches last campaign, rushed for 1,173 yards, and had 8 TDs on 264 possessions. Cook also finished with 39 receptions for almost 300 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Dalvin had shoulder surgery after the end of the season to fix a ‘broken shoulder’ that he broke back in 2019. The RB will be fully recovered for the start of the new NFL season.
