Mike Wright will take the place of injured Will Rogers at QB position and make his 1st start for Mississippi State in today’s football match vs. Arkansas.
Mississippi State QB Mike Wright gets the start today. Earlier this week, I wrote about his relationship with Arkansas while being recruited out of the ATL. https://t.co/Ex47n0xPOd

Will injured his shoulder in Miss State’s 41-28 victory against Western Michigan on October 7th. Despite being injured, Will traveled with his teammates and will cheer for them from the sideline, but he is not healthy enough to be on the field.
Despite this being the 1st start for Mike at Mississippi, he had 11 starts at Vanderbilt before changing schools during the summer. However, he was on the field for some time in all 6 matches of his team this campaign. Wright tried just 11 passes but is the school’s 2nd-leading rusher with 138 yards and 3 TDs.
Rogers played from the 1st minute on the field in 38 straight matches dating to the 24-17 victory against Vanderbilt on November 7th, 2020.
