Al-Hilal striker Aleksandar Mitrovic surprisingly compared his new club to Real Madrid.
“I’m not nostalgic for England, I played there for many years. I’m happy that I finally moved to a top club. Al-Hilal is a bit like Real Madrid. I’m very happy here and I want to win titles,” Mitrovic said, quoted by Gazzeta dello Sport.
The 29-year-old striker joined Al-Hilal from Fulham in the summer transfer window and already played 4 games for hisnew team, scoring 5 goals and making 1 assist. Mitrovic previously played for Newcastle, Anderlecht and Partizan Belgrade.
The forward was very interested in a move to Saudi Arabia and made everything possible so that Fulham accept Al-Hilal’s bid for him, although the London side was reluctant to sell their star striker.
