AS Roma head coach Jose Mourinho claimed he is experiencing “the worst start to a campaign as manager,” with his side’s being in 16th place in the Italian championship after winning just 1 match from 6 Serie A games.
Jose Mourinho: “It is a heavy defeat. The fans know me by now and know how much this result hurts me because I’ve developed a special relationship with them.” https://t.co/14r7AqgjnC

Last campaign’s Europa League finalists have the 3rd worst defensive record in the league in the current season, allowing 11 goals. The Wolves latest defeat came on Thursday in an embarrassing way – 4-1 against Genoa.
“It’s also the worst start of my career, but I think it was also the 1st time in Roma’s history that we appeared in 2 consecutive European finals,” the Wolves head coach shared after the defeat at Genoa.
“You can cry internally because it’s a very bad experience, also because of my relationship with the club fans, it makes me feel even worse – it is not a personal issue but also a general 1 that makes me feel this way,” Mourinho added.
