The Turkish side announced the Portuguese head coach’s salary to inform the stock market – 3 days after the team presented the Special One to thousands of supporters.
Fenerbahce didn’t reveal the size of any bonuses in Jose’s deal.
The Portuguese boss main task will be to triumph with the Turkish league, something the team didn’t do since 2014. Fenerbahce lost the tile to rivals Galatasaray in May. The club will also begin in the UCL qualifying rounds next month.
At the same time, another Istanbul-based team, Besiktas, revealed that Giovanni van Bronckhorst will be their next manager.
The Dutch has inked a 2-year deal with the option of an additional campaign. Giovanni was last at the helm of Rangers, taking the club to the UEL final in the 2021-22 campaign.
