Mourinho threw his runners-up medal and attacked the referee

Roma coach Jose Mourinho did not contain his nerves after the Europa League final against Sevilla. His team lost the match on penalties and the Special One seemed to take his first defeat in a major tournament final hard.

Immediately after receiving his silver medal, the Portuguese went to the Roma fans and threw it at one of them. However, that was not all. Throughout the match, the coach was reprimanding referee Anthony Taylor, visibly unhappy with his decisions.

It all seems to have irritated Mourinho to such an extent that after the game he was spotted hurling insults at the refereeing brigade in the car park as they prepared to leave the stadium.
