Chelsea player Mykhailo Mudryk has claimed his goal in the 2-2 draw against the Gunners was somewhat intentional.
The Ukrainian winger, who was expected to ink with Arsenal before his transfer in the last possible moment to the Blues in January, lobbed David Raya with what appeared to be a cross shortly after the beginning of the 2nd half, and all the football fans started to argue if he did it on purpose or not.
Mykhailo revealed his effort was somewhere between a cross and a shot.
“Before the match, our goalkeeper coach told me to look at their keeper because sometimes Raya is trying to read things, and he can just lose the goal so that I can lob him,” the Ukrainian shared after his phenomenal goal on Saturday.
“So, it was something I knew and was looking for during the clash. I tried something between the cross and the shot, and it ended up being a perfect decision.”
