Andy returned to the court after having a hip-resurfacing procedure in 2019 but has struggled to reach the latter stages in the most competitive tournaments. Murray has failed to surpass the 3rd round of a Grand Slam since reaching the Wimbledon ¼ finals in 2017.
After being eliminated in the 1st round at Brisbane and Melbourne Park, Andy lost against Benoit Paire in Montpellier yesterday, and the media asked him if he thinks about retirement to avoid damaging his legacy.
Murray answered that he disagrees that continuing to play tennis can affect his legacy and added that he won’t quit and will try to get better and show what he can do on the court.
