Joel Embiid received his MVP award before the match against Boston Celtics as Adam Sliver rewarded the Philadelphia 76ers star in front of exiled Philly fans.

Jayson Tatum told after the clash that he watched the event ahead of Game 3 and saw on the TV how Joel lifted the trophy.

The Celtics superstar was motivated by the whole thing and atmosphere and notched 27 points to secure the victory for Boston and a 2-1 lead in the East ½ final matchup.

“It just got me really motivated to fight,” Jayson claimed, watching Joel get his MVP award. “You could sense the energy from the fans and the venue. I’m pleased for Joel. He gained it, he deserved it, but I was just aimed at attempting to secure the victory tonight.”
