Rafa Nadal shares he is not sure if he will be able to be on the court at May’s French Open as he continues to deal with pain in his comeback from injury.
The Spaniard revealed today that he is far from being at his best level and that he will be on the court vs. American Darwin Blanch in the 1st round of the Madrid Open as a personal sacrifice.
Rafael Nadal says that if he feels at Roland Garros how he feels today, he likely won’t play, but has goals after that such as the Olympics 🇫🇷
Hoping to improve before then 🤞🥹pic.twitter.com/3KBEKs66sM

“If the French Open starts today, I wouldn’t be able to compete,” Rafa shared with the media about the upcoming Grand Slam on clay. “I still don’t think I will be able to be at hundred percent until then, but it’s crucial to be on the court for the last time here. It is really special to compete on this court where I have so many things to cheer about in the past.”
Nadal added that this doesn’t mean that he will not play at the French Open, but he also can’t commit because of his problems.
