Follow usFormer WTA No. 1 Naomi Osaka gave birth to a baby girl and already thinks about returning to the court. She currently lives in Los Angeles and even while she was pregnant she announced that she will back in action after New Years.
It is not yet clear what the baby’s name is, but in June the Japanese tennis player posted photos on Instagram in which she revealed the gender of the baby. The Japanese once admitted that she suffers from depression and panic attacks. She disappeared from social networks for a while.
“These few months away from the sport have really given me a new love and appreciation for the game I’ve dedicated my life to,” she wrote upon her return.
The 25-year-old tennis player was world number one and a four-time Grand Slam winner. Her last Grand Slam victory was in 2021 at the Australian Open.
