Napoli breeze past an inferior Eintracht Frankfurt side with a comftorable 3-0 victory at Stadio Diego Armando Maradona on Wednesday night.

Victor Osimhen once again made the headlines for the Italian club as his brace put the tie beyond any hopes Frankfurt might have had. The Nigerian slotted home a first-half stoppaged time header and with a close-range finish in the 53th minute doubled Napoli lead.

Piotr Zielinski converted a penalty in the 64th minute to make it 3-0 and 5-0 on aggregate.

“We want to enjoy the moment and look ahead. It’s a great win, we re-wrote the history of this club,” Osimhen said, who now has 23 goals in 28 appearances this season.

“We keep dreaming, we don’t have limits. We follow our coach and look ahead.”

With the Serie A title more than wrapped up, as Napoli currently sit at the top with 18 points gap over 2nd Inter, the Italian side would have the luxury to focus fully in the Champions League and might cause serious problems for any big team that faces them.
