Croatia achieved a conservative, but sufficient 1-0 win over Armenia on their home soil to secure spot for the Euro 2024 qualifiers on Tuesday night.
Zlatko Dalic’s men were solid and were the ones creating the initiative all throughout the game.
Ante Budimir’s goal right before half-time was all the hosts needed to edge out the Armenians.

The visitors tried to fight back, but ultimately were outplayed in all areas of the pitch as they finished the game without a single shot on target.
With the win Croatia finishes Group D in second place with 16 points, one behind leaders Turkey, who drew Wales 1-1. They will be looking to emulate their strong showings in big events in the upcoming Euro 2024.
