The running back and 3 other men were charged with a misdemeanor of conspiracy to commit battery. However, the Saints’ player no longer faces felony charges after he took the plea deal; his attorney shared the news with the media.
Alvin is charged with community service and must pay the victim 100,000 dollars.
“Kamara is happy that this matter is behind him and can’t wait for the beginning of the new National Football League campaign,” his lawyer announced.
The league has not shared about potential disciplinary actions against the player, but that doesn’t mean that he will not face it because NFL has a history until the legal process ends to announce any suspensions.
From @NFLprguy on #Saints star Alvin Kamara: “We have been closely monitoring all developments in the matter which remains under review.”
