The Saints quarterback leaves a loss to Detroit in the 4th quarter.

New Orleans Saints QB Derek Carr went to the locker room in the 4th quarter of his team’s 33-28 defeat against the Detroit Lions and did not enter the field again.

The franchise ruled him as doubtful to return as he suffered shoulder and back problems, but Jameis Winston finished the match under center for the Saints.

Derek was struck so hard that referees ruled roughing the passer. The Saints QB remained on the ground with teammates beside him as the medical team rushed to the field to treat him. Luckily, he didn’t need a cart to leave the field as he walked off to the sideline and entered the medical tent.

After that, the quarterback left the tent and entered the locker room. His place on the field took Taysom Hill before Winston came in on the next play, as he finished a drive that secured New Orleans a TD.
