The Jets could use their cornerbacks for the upcoming clash.

The NY Jets’ secondary is whole again, as CBs Sauce Gardner and D.J. Reed cleared the concussion protocol today and could be selected for their team’s Sunday match vs. the NY Giants.

New York played without them in their last clash yet managed to defeat the heavy favorite Philadelphia Eagles 20-14. D.J. missed 2 matches with the concussion he sustained in Week 4 vs. the Kansas City Chiefs.

After the bye week, both cornerbacks returned to full training two days ago. Hence, the organization (3-3) is very positive that they will start in the upcoming game against the Giants (2-5) at MetLife Stadium. The franchise is looking for their 3rd consecutive victory.

“It gives you flexibility on the defense and allows you to be — not more creative, but give you a chance to do a couple of things that otherwise you will not do with these 2 cornerbacks on the field,” manager Robert Saleh shared with the media today.
