Luton shocked Newcastle at the beginning of the 2nd half as the away club netted twice within 3 minutes. Carlton Morris converted a penalty in the 59th minute to give the lead to his team for the 1st time in the match. Only 3 minutes later, Elijah Adebayo scored for 4-2.
After that, the Magpies answered fast as Kieran Trippier scored for 4-3 in the 67th minute, and Harvey Barnes, in his return from injury that kept him 4 months sidelined, scored for 4-4 in the 73rd minute as that was the final goal in the game and both sides shared the points.
