The NFL confirmed that Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson will not face any sanctions after his sideline clash with a fan during Sunday night’s game in Buffalo.
“The matter has been addressed by the club and there is no further action from the league,” NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy said.

The incident took place in the third quarter, shortly after a Ravens touchdown celebration, when a Bills fan reached over and touched the helmets of Jackson and wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins as Jackson reacted by shoving the man in the chest.
The Ravens said they have dealt with the matter internally and stressed that player safety remains the priority. “We have spoken to Lamar, who understands the impact of the situation, about the incident,” a team official told ESPN. “While we will keep internal matters private, we have implemented additional security protocols — both at home and on the road — to better protect our players and handle negative fan interactions moving forward.”
The fan has been banned indefinitely by the NFL from Buffalo’s Highmark Stadium and all league venues.
Jackson admitted afterward that he let his emotions get the better of him. “I’ll learn from that,” said the two-time MVP.
