Nikita Zadorov notched his 1st goal for the Canucks, J.T. Miller also scored, and Elias Pettersson gave 3 assists.
“I believe we were amazing. In my opinion, we’re were solid from the beginning,” Zadorov shared. “Another home victory, and we’re still trying to establish home ice here.”
Vancouver improved to 37-12-6, as they had 80 points and a 6-point lead over the Panthers, Bruins, and the Stars.
“I think we stayed pretty compact and kept them to the outside,” Vancouver manager Rick Tocchet revealed. “It was a hard-fought victory … the past few days have been tough for us but we overcame it.”
“Coming from that long trip, how would we react? I thought the guys did a really nice job. Got to give them a lot of credit.”
