The Serbian started as expected and won the 1st 2 sets to get 1 set away from the victory. However, that’s when the young Britain showed his best tennis and converted 2 break chances for opportunities to win the 3rd set 7-5.
In the 4th set everything was leveled and when we were so close to a tiebreak, Djokovic broke Fearnley’s serve when the British player was serving for 6-5 lead and then Nole won his serve to win the set and the match and advance to the 1/16 at the Grand Slam on grass in London.
Nole will face world number 47 from Australia Alexei Popyrin in his next match at Wimbledon.
