Daniel suffered the injury the past weekend in a 31-16 defeat to the Miami Dolphins when his neck snapped back violently as the quarterback was struck from behind on a 6th sack of the match.
Tyrod Taylor will replace him against Buffalo as he is taking the 1st team reps at training.
Giants boss shared that a few days ago, there was optimism about Daniel, but that was before the results of an MRI became available. Jones said it wasn’t negative but added that the problem would not force him to miss a longer period.
Neither the QB nor the manager gave details about his neck injury and when he will be available for selection again.
