German attacking midfielder Kai Havertz was officially announced as a new Arsenal player by the Gunners.
He is leaving other London side – Chelsea after three seasons with the Blues, having won one Champions League, one European Super Cup and one FIFA Club World cup.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the transfer fee is around £65 million and he will wear number 29 at Emirates.

“Kai is a player of top quality. He has great versatility and he’s intelligent player. He will bring a huge amount of extra strength to our midfield and variety to our play”, said Arsenal manager Mikael Arteta, who was working very hard to sign the German.

Now that Arsenal have closed the deal for Havertz, they will focus on the negotiations with West Ham for Declan Rice. The latest reports are that the Hammers have agreed to sell their star player for £100 million £5 million in adds on, but the formula of the deal is yet to be decided.
