Lewis will leave Mercedes after 12 years at the team, winning six world titles. According to multiple sources, both Ferrari drivers knew Hamilton will join the team in 2025 and Charles Leclerc extended his contract, knowing he will partner with the Brit. This move leaves Carlos Sainz without a guaranteed seat for 2025, but it is almost certain that the Spaniard will stay in Formula 1.
