The Baltimore team ran riot and deservedly won

The Baltimore Orioles emerged victorious in a match against the Oakland Athletics in a comfortable fashion 7-2 on Saturday night.

Ryan Mountcastle had a stunning game as he singled in Adam Frazier with a go-ahead run before securing 4 more runs in the 0th inning alone.

Austin Hays and James McCann homered in the fourth inning for the Orioles, who remained hitless for the first three innings.

“Just total team offense there in that inning,” Orioles manager Brandon Hyde said. “We weren’t having the best luck. Our pitching won us the game.”

Baltimore’s bullpen was clinical all night, allowing only two hits and one run over the final five innings. Felix Bautista retired three batters for the win.

Aledmys Díaz homered twice for the last-place A’s, who are enduring a miserable run of 9 defeates in the last 11 games.
