Double victory for McLaren as Lando Norris finished in the 2nd place.

Oscar Piastri secured the victory at the Miami GP as the key moment for his win came on Lap 14 when he made it past Verstappen to lead the race as Lando Norris quickly followed him and finished 2nd for the double triumph of the McLaren pilots.

That was Piastri’s 4th triumph since the beginning of the season as he also won the Australian GP, the Bahrain GP and the Saudi Arabian GP.

George Russell finished 3rd and will be at the podium as Max Verstappen ended up 4th. Alexander Albon was the last pilot in top 5 as Kimi Antonelli finished 6th.

The most interesting part of the race came from Ferrari as Lewis Hamilton demanded to swap positions with Charles Leclerc, and he had to wait and even make ironic comments on radio before that happened. After that, however, the British racer was not quicker than his Italian teammate and a few laps later, Leclerc was given his position back from Hamilton as Charles finished 7th while Lewis’ 8th.

Carlos Sainz had the chance to past the Brit in the final moments but finished in the 9th place while the last place on top 10 at the Miami Grand Prix was for Yuki Tsunoda.

Piastri is in the 1st place in the overall standings with 131 points while his teammate Lando Norris is with 115 points and Max Verstappen ends top 3 with 99 points.
