On Friday, Tyrie suffered the injury in the franchise win against the Edmonton Elks. Redblacks did not acknowledge how the quarterback incurred the injury.
The QB was making his 1st Canadian Football League start and finished the match 14-of-20 for 185 yards and 1 TD. Adams also had 31 rushing yards.
Tyrie appeared collegiately at Western Carolina and was born in Florida.
#Redblacks QB Tyrie Adams continued to play vs. the #Elks, even though he had an ACL injury. Adams told coach Bob Dyce his parents were at home watching on TV and knew he was injured. But they also knew he wouldn’t come out of the game.
