The Buffalo Sabres have agreed terms with Owen Power to a 7-year contract extension.
The annual value is $8.35m and the contract, which kick in from 2024-25 season ties the player with the club until 2030-31.

It is a major boost for Buffalo as Power proved to be one of the team’s most prominent figures in his rookies season. The 20-year-old has 87 games under his belt, 79 of which came in last campaign. He notched 4 goals and 31 assists for 35 points , while also registering 24 minutes per game.
His fine performances earned him a place on the NHL’s all-rookie first team and he also finished third in the Calder trophy voting.
