Pep: ‘Don’t write the Sky Blues out of Premier League title race’

Pep Guardiola has claimed that Manchester City are among the favorite to win the Premier League, and it must be stupid to write them off in the race for the trophy.

The Sky Blues will play again in the league tomorrow against Everton after the team got back from Saudi Arabia, where they triumphed with the Club World Cup, their 5^th title this year.

Man City only won 1 of their last 6 matches in the Premier League, falling to 5^th place in the standings, but Pep warned his rivals that it would be a mistake if the others think that the club can’t win the title at the end of the season as the Sky Blues did in 5 of the last 6 seasons.

“This is the reality,” Pep admitted. “When you don’t triumph, you are nothing, 0. As much as you triumph, they want you to fail more than ever. But what we have achieved, the trophies, is fantastic.”
