Ranger Suarez pitched five scoreless innings аs Philadelphia hit five home runs to crush the Houston Astros 7-0 and take a a 2-1 World Series lead on Tuesday.

Bryce Harper sent a breaking ball from Lance McCullers, who became the first pitcher in World Series history to give up five home runs in a game, over the right field fence to give Phillies a 2-0 lead in the bottom of the first before solo shots by Alec Bohm and Brandon Marsh in the next inning pushing the lead to 4-0.
A 443-foot two-run shot from Kyle Schwarber and a solo shot from Rhys Hoskins made it 6-0 while Bohm blasted a homer on the first pitch, he saw to lead off the second.
“It’s our fanbase, plain and simple,” Harper told reporters after the game. “They keep us going, keep us fired up. When we were able to come out on the field today, they were all here ready to go.
“They believe in us and we believe in them, so it’s been great.”
